It wouldn't necessarily be surprising to learn about press outlets getting their hands on Nintendo Switch just weeks ahead of its release, but how about random civilians posting on the internet? Well, it appears that's exactly what's happened, as a man known simply as "hiphoptherobot" has uploaded some not-before-seen Nintendo Switch UI footage to his VidMe channel. You can also view the footage in the YouTube video above.
While there's not exactly anything mind-blowing being shown, it is nice to get a glimpse at how the device's user experience will play out, and from the looks of things it appears quite slick. The video shows off menu navigation, use of Joy-Con controllers, and even a fancy startup animation where the on-screen Switch logo Joy-Cons part ways and merge with their real-life counterparts. Though simple, it's definitely the sort of Christmas morning new console polish that gets people excited.

There are also a number of photos taken from this delivery anomaly, seen above and on Twitter via Dystify here. If you can get past the jealousy of not being the golden ticket winner blessed by the gods to experience an early delivery mishap, then you've got to admit that it's pretty cool when this sort of thing happens.
