At E3 2010, the PlayStation Move was priced and dated, and a number of games for the PS3 motion controller made their debut. One such game, was Sorcery, which has since fallen into obscurity due to lack of media coverage.
It's not the media's fault. Even we had scheduled time to see Sorcery as far back as GDC 2011 (which was in March), but Sony canceled last minute, leaving the game (and The Last Guardian) out of its GDC line-up. E3 came and went, and nothing so much as a peep about Sorcery was spoken, leaving many to believe that Sorcery was silently put to rest.
But come this December, Sony will finally be ready to let journalist go hands-on with the game at PlayStation's holiday showcase in NYC, which means the game is still alive and kicking.
"Yes, Sorcery is still in development," Sony's Eric Levine said. "We're very excited to show everyone how this PlayStation Move exclusive game is coming along".
Hopefully they've used this time to turn Sorcery into a game that can finally make the PlayStation Move a must-have – it desperately needs it.
