Dark Souls was a great game, no doubt about that, and good games should be shared with everyone. Why not let the PC guys experience the pinnacle of frustration and reward too?
The cover of the next issue of PC Action, a German gaming publication, has leaked that a PC version of Dark Souls is in the works. According to the magazine the PC edition will be nearly identical to the version seen on the Xbox 360 and PS3, although two new bosses will be added.
*SPOILERS*
The two new bosses consist of Black Dragon and Guardian of the Tomb. Both bosses look extremely intimidating, are absolutely huge, and will add even more flavor to the game's cast of over 20 challenging bosses.
*END OF SPOILERS*
Some people have speculated that both new bosses will be added as purchasable DLC for the original versions, so don't be too quick to decide if you're going to re-buy the game or not.
Given how beautiful Dark Souls was on the aging PS3 and 360 hardware, chances are it will come alive with modern PC hardware driving it. Gamepads will be supported, so you can decide how you want to play, but the precision of the mouse will be a fun new way to enjoy the ferocious combat system.
Excited? Good, but you'll have to wait until August (according to PC Action) to see this bad boy. Stay tuned for an official announcement from Namco Bandai as well as some additional details including some badass screenshots of the new bosses.
