With Horizon Zero Dawn being one of Sony’s most popular and profitable games, we knew they weren’t done with it yet. That suspicion was confirmed last month when Sony announced that it had become their best-selling new IP and a story expansion was in the works.
During the opening of Sony’s E3 2017 conference, Sony gave us our first look at this first expansion, titled The Frozen Wild. Check out the trailer below:
The trailer teases a new monster guarding a mysterious mountain and answers for Aloy’s many questions. The Horizon Zero Dawn expansion is reported to release later this year, of course exclusive to PS4.
Although, it seems there is some confusion among those at Sony as to what the expansion is called. The trailer above clearly lists it as The Frozen Wilds, but the official PlayStation Twitter account Tweeted it out as The Frozen Wastes, with a short video that doubles down on this title.
