You Can Play Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Blood Orchid This Month

The latest content update for Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege, Operation Blood Orchid, is releasing on August 29 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. The year two, season three update will include an abundance of new content, and there’s a trailer to check it all out available, courtesy of Ubisoft. Unfortunately, it’s not available for viewing right now outside of the UK.

But at least’s The content update will introduce a new map for free, as well as three new operators. Two represent the Hong Kong Special Duties Unit, and the other from the GROM counter-terrorism unit. All of this new content will be available on August 29 for anyone who has a season pass, and September 5 for everyone else after that.

The new map is called Theme Park, and it’s set in Hong Kong. Previously it was outed by Ubisoft accidentally earlier this week, but the publisher realized its mistake and took it down. Fans have suggested that the theme park is meant to be modeled after a popular destination in Hong Kong, and it’s a fairly colorful and interesting-looking map for the game that’s a lot unlike the rest of the maps currently available for it.

The update will go live following the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League finals at Gamescom next week taking place from August 25 through August 26. In the meantime, might want to brush up on your Siege skills so you can get ahead. You know, before everyone just decides they’re going to camp and do whatever they feel like doing.
