Fortnite Battle Royale has become a much-needed twist on the Battle Royale formula established by the likes of PUBG, with it presenting a more casual approach to the genre that has seen it become a big hit on Twitch. PUBG will release a new map in December, with it being the first major new addition to the game aside from weapon and vehicle updates since its early access launch. Fortnite Battle Royale already firing out a major new mode, with more seemingly in the pipeline, is a hopeful sign that Epic will pump out new content for the game with much greater frequency than its rival.

The Fortnite Battle Royale 50 vs 50 game mode will be available until Sunday, December 17th on PS4, Xbox One and PC, though Epic stated that they are working on more unique modes to introduce to the game.
