PUBG Mobile Getting Miramar Map and More in Update 0.50

PUBG Mobile is getting closer and closer to that of its big brother on the PC and Xbox One. The constant updates are adding more features to the mobile version of the game and its latest update will even finally add the Miramar desert map. That’s not all players have to look forward to in update 0.50 as it is a major patch with many improvements and additions.

PUBG Mobile Update 0.50: Miramar Desert Map

The Tencent Community Team posted the official patch notes on Reddit earlier today as update 0.50 goes live for PUBG Mobile players everywhere. First things first, the biggest addition in this update is the Miramar desert map, which comes with new vehicles and weapons for players to enjoy. Players can now collect rewards for progression when reaching new levels and take on new weekly activity missions.

Other additions include a local quick team feature, where can team up with friends who are in the same room by simply entering a 6-digit code. Players can now collect Synergy by interacting with their friends and build Connections in the process. Language-specific chat channels and more avatars have also been added.

Additionally, a Shop is now available for players to preview and purchase new outfits and items, as well as the Secret Stash where can purchase special discounted items. Check out all the improvements arriving in update 0.50 in the list below:

In other related news, PUBG Mobile recently turned out to be the most downloaded mobile game in the world during the first quarter of 2018, according to statistics revealed by Sensor Tower. It accrued over 60 million downloads on both Android and iOS devices. It’s a testament to PUBG Mobile‘s success that Tencent has released an official PC emulator for the game, despite the fact that PUBG is already playable on the PC.
