Epic Games is gearing up to steal the show at E3 2018 with its massive Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am event. A showdown of epic proportions will take place at this year’s E3, with over 100 players consisting of 50 pros and 50 celebrities pairing up to win the Victory Royale grand prize. Let’s see who will be participating in the upcoming competition on a scale unheard of in the history of battle royale games.
Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am E3 2018: Who will be participating?
The Fortnite Team announced several details and some of the celebrity pairings in a news post earlier today. The initially unveiled pairings include Ninja and Marshmello, Myth and Paul George, Pokimane and Desiigner, Markiplier and Joel McHale, and last but not least, Gotaga and Demetrious Johnson. That’s only five out of a whopping 50 total pairings, the rest of which will be revealed in the weeks leading to E3 2018.
Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am E3 2018: Prize Pool
Only one pair will be rocket riding to the ultimate Victory Royale grand prize of $3,000,000 in charity prize money, which they will then donate to a charity of their choice. Impressively, this isn’t part of the $100,000,000 planned prize pool for Fortnite eSports competitions.
