Microsoft and Xbox are gearing up for what looks to be one of their biggest E3 showing ever at the upcoming E3 2018. As it draws closer, they’re revealing even more details for their plans during the world’s biggest gaming event. Their E3 presence in the past have often been overshadowed by Sony and Nintendo but this year might finally be different.
The company announced its E3 2018 plans via a news post on Xbox Wire earlier today. Xbox will be kicking things off with its annual Xbox E3 2018 Briefing, which it confirms will offer “in-depth looks at previously announced games to trailers for our unannounced titles coming in 2018 and beyond.” The briefing will be offered in six languages on Mixer, including English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, as well as providing English Closed Captions.
Xbox E3 2018: Where To Watch The Xbox E3 2018 Briefing
Gamers can check out the Xbox E3 2018 Briefing live when it begins on June 10th at 1 pm PDT. They will have the option of watching it on the Xbox Official Channel on Mixer, the Xbox Twitch Channel, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook Live or at any participating Microsoft Store. It will also be available for cable and satellite subscribers in the U.S. and Canada.
The exclusive Inside Xbox will air during E3 this year, on June 11th at 3 pm PDT, and it will feature “exclusive announcements, game demos, interviews, giveaways and more.” E3 2018 attendees wielding the E3 Expo Badge will be able to play many of the titles shown at the event on June 12th and June 13th at the Microsoft Theater.
It seems that Xbox will finally unveil exciting games at this year’s E3 if the words of its studio head are any indication. Xbox Head Phil Spencer’s post on Twitter earlier this month hinted at the possibility of more Japanese developers participating in Xbox’s E3 2018 plans. He said: “As of now, yes. Things can change but like last year I wanted to make sure we supported our Japanese publishers on our stage and this year we are working to do the same. It’s important to us.”
