Devil May Cry 5 Demo Ready for Gamescom, Says Itsuno

Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno has confirmed that the Devil May Cry 5 demo for Gamescom 2018 is ready as he tweeted out the information alongside a screenshot of the Devil May Cry 5 title screen earlier today. The demo will be playable on the Gamescom show floor, with more being showcased as part of the “The SSStylish gameplay of Devil May Cry 5” panel a week later at PAX West.

Since the E3 trailer announcing Devil May Cry 5 earlier in the year, fans have been eager for more information on the game. The news that there would be a gameplay demo at Gamescom 2018 in ten days’ time added to the excitement. That demo has now been completed, according to a tweet made by game director Hideaki Itsuno that featured a picture of the Devil May Cry 5 demo title screen where we see Nero stood in a destroyed city street with wings that form a V in reference to the game.

There’s been a lot of excitement online over Devil May Cry 5‘s Gamescom presence, and a good reason for it. It’s rumoured to be a pretty significant outing for the game alongside the playable demo, though there are no details on what specifically will be going down during the show when it opens for members of the press on August 21. What we do know for certain, at least, is that a week after Gamescom 2018 comes to a close, there’ll be a panel at PAX West hosted by Itsuno and Devil May Cry 5 producers Matthew Walker and Michiteru Okabe that will feature “special surprises.”

Stay tuned for any further info that comes from the Devil May Cry 5 demo and more at Gamescom, and then when the “SSStylish gameplay of Devil May Cry 5” panel at PAX West.
