Aksys Games Will Bring Muramasa: The Demon Blade To US Vitas

According to Siliconera, Muramasa: The Demon Blade for the Vita will be hitting US shores after all, after previously being announced it would only release in Japan (like pretty much everything is when they're initially announced).

Aksys Games (BlazBlue, Zero Escape: 999, Bit Trip Saga) will be publishing the Vita port for the US. Hopefully this means that the game will keep the original Japanese voice acting with subtitles as the Wii version did, and the publisher won't look for English voice overs.

Amazon.com has also listed Muramasa as coming to the Vita in North America, although whether this is in response to Siliconera's article or to the confirmation from Aksys itself is unknown. We've all seen Amazon be wrong before. The online retailer has labeled the port as "Muramasa Rebirth" and slated its US release for June 25, 2013.

I absolutely loved Muramasa on the Wii, but I never finished it because of the waggle controls. If this is in fact true, and Muramasa is indeed coming to the Vita in North America, I will happily shell out the money again to buy the game and hopefully finish it. Or do I wait for PlayStation Plus to add it to the instant game collection?

UPDATE: New info has come down that Aksys will be providing "completely new English localization" to the game, which is suggesting English voiceovers. As long as there is the option for Japanese voice acting and subtitles, I'll be happy.
