Bayonetta fans who are holding out hope for PlatinumGames' sequel to launch on platforms other than the Wii U are likely doing so in vain, as studio designer Hideki Kamiya has made it crystal clear that Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are entirely up to Nintendo.
"We are a developer. Nintendo are the ones kind enough to fund and publish our The Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2 projects. So if Nintendo says, 'We are publishing Bayonetta 2 on PS3/360,' then it will happen. So please go ask them, not us," he said on Twitter.
With the recent news that Rayman Legends will be going multiplatform, it's hard to imagine why Nintendo would be willing to part with two of the very few outside exclusives they do have.
