As it stands, Crystal Dynamics has no plans to extend Tomb Raider's single-player experience with additional downloadable content.
Karl Stewart, the studio's global brand manager, shared the news during a Reddit 'Ask Me Anything', noting that all future DLC will be multiplayer-related. "There are currently no plans in place for any Single Player expansions. All of our DLC is based around the Multiplayer experience for now," he said.
While this news may initially come across as disappointing, I must admit that I find it a bit refreshing that the on-disc campaign experience is also the definitive, complete one that hasn't been rendered obsolete due to digital add-ons.
