Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have just released an official trailer highlighting the very first Mortal Kombat DLC pack. The DLC will contain all of the retailer exclusive "classic" costumes for Reptile, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Ermac, Mileena, Kitana and Jade. Additionally, the DLC will unlock "classic" fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, which were also part of the retailer exclusivity.
The DLC pack will launch on June 7th on Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network for $4.99.
Boy do I feel stupid for buying that Classic Scorpion DLC on Ebay. I paid $18 for it about a week after launch because I was so jealous that others had it and I didn't. What's worse is the fact that I didn't even get to redeem it, still, because the PlayStation Store has been down ever since. So it's not like I got to have it for a month before everyone else. Last time I do anything like that.
At least I held off on springing for the Reptile DLC, which was fetching over $50 on Ebay the last time I checked. I just checked again for the sake of this article, and saw these poor schmucks bid up to $70 for a tiny portion of DLC that is going to be released for an Abraham Lincoln.
