An early look at the PlayStation 4's user interface has been leaked thanks to Zombie Studios, who experienced a few technical hiccups when showcasing Blacklight: Retribution running on PS4 dev kit hardware.
As you can see in the video above, the UI looks very simple and sleek, making it all the more user-friendly, which is a major win in my book. Bear in mind, though, that this footage comes from a dev kit, so what we see may not necessarily be an accurate representation of the final PS4 interface. That said, it sure does look great.
What do you think of the UI? Is it too simple and boring? Don't forget that we have already been treated to other images of the interface from Sony, which show a slightly more detailed aesthetic.
Could this just be a different piece of the menu? There is a good chance the dev kit UI is in fact just streamlined, but in all honesty I like its clutter-free style a bit more.
