Eric Nylund, the writer behind a handful of Halo novels including Halo: The Fall of Reach and Halo: First Strike, has officially joined up with Amazon Game Studios as its director of narrative design—at least, that's what his LinkedIn profile states.
The former director of narrative design at Microsoft Studio poured a lot of his time and energy into the Big M—13 years worth to be exact. There's no doubt that much of why the Halo universe is so amazing today has to do with his work on the series.
That said, we have no clue what Nylund will be doing at Amazon. In a post of Facebook (via CouchCampus), he only said, "I can't talk about specifics, but I wouldn't be there unless something cool was brewing."
What do you think Nylund might be working on? Do you think it has something to do with the rumored Amazon-branded Android console? Sound off in the comments below and let us know.
