Square Enix has formed a committee to oversee the quality of its most important role-playing franchise, Final Fantasy.
The publisher confirmed this news to IGN after a report from FF-Reunion suggested that this was happening at the company.
It's no secret that the franchise has dropped in quality ever since the PlayStation 2 era. Final Fantasy XIII didn't live up to many gamers' expectations, but hopefully the measures being taken at Square truly make a difference. I'm just praying Final Fantasy XV doesn't turn out to be a total bust.
