Rumor: Disgruntled FOXCONN Workers Sabotaged PS4 Production

A new report suggests that FOXCONN workers who were treated badly during the production of the PlayStation 4 sabotaged the hardware in retaliation.

Acccording to an intern, due to poor working conditions, the staff felt inclined to take it out on the construction of Sony's next-gen console. Back in August, the intern posted the following on a since-closed thread, which has surfaced on the IGN Boards: "Since foxconn are not treating us well, we will not treat ps4 console well. The ps4 console we assemble can be turned on at best."

Here's a screenshot of the original thread.

Have you been having any issues with your PlayStation 4? According to Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, the failure rate sits at just 0.4%, so here's to hoping all of you fine members of the GR community have not had any issues.
