A new Minecraft Sonic DLC is out now, adding 24 all-new skins to the game alongside a world featuring levels inspired by classic stages. The Sonic x Minecraft collab is the latest in a long line of crossovers, though the arrival of SEGA’s mascot is one of the biggest to date. Better yet, this Sonic the Hedgehog content weighs in a very reasonable price.
How much is the new Minecraft Sonic DLC?

Sonic x Minecraft features all of the series’ most beloved characters, along with several deep cuts for the most dedicated fans. Some of the skins aren’t purely cosmetic, either. Sonic retains his signature spin dash, allowing him to get around quickly while taking out any enemies in his path. Similarly, Tails can hover in midair and Amy Rose wields her iconic hammer weapon.
Of course, users are also free to get creative with the Sonic Minecraft content. Although the DLC features pre-made levels, it’ll be interesting to see what the community can do with these premium assets. There’s a lot to work with and, as ever, the only limit to what can be done is the imagination of the player base.
Sonic is cropping up all over the place recently, like in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 video game. Then there’s also the upcoming Sonic Colors Ultimate and mystery Sonic 2022 title (which might be called Sonic Rangers).
