Microsoft's latest console managed to outsell PlayStation 4 at major retailers on Black Friday, according to a report from retail research firm InfoScout.
The following infographic was posted on the company's blog, showing the stats for all the major gaming platforms at both Walmart and Target.
You'll notice that PlayStation 4 came in fourth place, but something tells me that has nothing to do with a lack of interest in the platform. Sony's latest console has been sold out everywhere, so the smaller share percentage has more to do with short supply rather than a weaker demand.
That said, it's interesting to see that Xbox 360 managed to outpace PlayStation 3 by twofold and completely obliterate both of Nintendo's consoles. It's amazing that after eight years Microsoft's first HD gaming machine is still selling considerably well.
