Microsoft has confirmed that its studio in Victoria, British Columbia will be closed in an effort to "centralize development" over in Vancouver, where Black Tusk is currently working on the company's next big thing.
"This was not an easy decision, but one guided by our desire to centralize development in our Vancouver studios," Microsoft explained. "We are working closely with all employees affected by this change to identify open positions in other studios, and we remain committed to doing business in British Columbia."
There's no reason for gamers to fret, as no projects over at Microsoft have been affected. "We did not cancel any projects rather we centralized our development efforts in BC to our Vancouver offices," MS confirmed to Polygon.
