The latest mega Steam Summer Sale has begun today, June 23, 2022, and promises thousands of discounts on games until the first week of July. The sale also brings along new trading cards and a badge that can be earned by following a trail of clues in a mysterious game featuring a time-traveling trickster called Clorthax.

In addition to the games, players can earn trading cards by viewing their Discovery Queue or spending money in the sale. There’s also an event-exclusive Clorthax’s Paradox Party badge to put together by following clues laid down in a treasure hunt that sends players hunting for fictional games through the Steam sale pages. For each clue solved, players will get another reward like animated avatars. Both the discounts and associated activities will run until 10 am PT on July 7.
In other gaming news, Fortnite got a minor PC update today that introduced stability fixes. Elsewhere, Overwatch currencies will be transferred to Overwatch 2 when the latter launches in October.
