Sony's Santa Monica Studio is looking to expand, as the development team behind the God of War series is departing Santa Monica to set up shop in a new location in Playa Vista that is roughly "four or five times the size" of its current base of operations.
According to Variety, this larger space will allow them to house a motion capture studio, a better sound bay, and, everyone's favorite, more conference rooms! There's currently no word on whether or not the developer's name will change, but considering the location change, it sure would make sense.
Sony Santa Monica is currently working on an untitled PlayStation 4 project that will most likely be a brand-new God of War game. I can only imagine how incredible it's going to look running on Sony's new gaming machine.
