A large portion of PlayStation 4 owners also have a Vita, according to new data provided by Sony.
During a closed door meeting attended by IGN, the company revealed that one out of every three PlayStation Vita owners also have a PS4. Gamasutra notes that 7.5 million Vitas have currently been sold, meaning that nearly 2.5 million gamers own both Sony's home console and handheld.
Then, when you compare that to the total number of PS4s currently in gamers' homes, which is now up to 4.2 million, you can deduce that approximately 60 percent of the PS4 user base is also made up of proud Vita owners.
With such a significant overlap, expect Sony to push interactivity between the two devices in the months and years to come.
