US 2013 Game Sales Bring in 15.39 Billion
rnAccording to a new report from the NPD, a whopping 15.39 billion dollars was spent on video games in the United States last year. New games account for 6.34 billion of the total, with used game sales and rentals making up 1.83 billion. That leaves a staggering 7.22 billion to the downloadable, subscription, and mobile side of the industry.
Flappy Bird Clone Coming From Fall Out Boy
rnIn response to the removal of the infamous mobile title Flappy Bird from the Apple Store, rock band Fall Out Boy has announced it will be releasing a clone of its own on iOS and Android called Fall Out Bird . Am I the only one who thinks this whole Flappy Bird craze is getting a little out of hand?
Kinect Sports Rivals Releasing in April
rnMicrosoft Studios and Rare's upcoming motion-based sports game, Kinect Sports Rivals , will launch on April 8th in North America, exclusively for Xbox One. It'll arrive in Europe a few days later on April 11th. You can pre-order the game right here .
South Park: The Stick of Truth Goes Gold
rnHurray! It looks like there won't be anymore delays for Obsidian Entertainment's upcoming RPG set in the comedy-ridden world created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. South Park: The Stick of Truth has officially gone gold. It launches on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on March 4th.
