[Update 2] It appears that an official price drop may be on the not so distant horizon for Xbox One, as even Microsoft's online store has slashed the price of the next-gen console by $50.
With sales lagging behind PlayStation 4 and the Big M's unwillingness to settle for anything less than first place in this console war, an official price cut at this stage in the game makes perfect sense.
Thanks, CraveOnline.
[Update] Both Amazon and Best Buy have matched Walmart's Xbox One sale, offering the console for $50 cheaper than its MSRP. Yes, that includes the Titanfall bundle.
Perhaps retailers are pushing to move more Microsoft consoles in lieu of PlayStation 4's limited availablity.
[Original] Walmart has slashed the price on its stock of Xbox One consoles $50, bringing the asking fee for Microsoft's next-gen hardware to just $449.
This offer includes the recently-released Titanfall bundle, which is a fantastic deal if you're still looking to pick up an Xbox One along with a copy of Respawn's online-based shooter. You can read our review of the game right here.
Head over to Walmart's online store and grab one before they're gone!
