Tekken 7 director Katushiro Harada took to Twitter to introduce Shaheen. On Facebook, he noted that he'd wanted an Arab character for a while, but wanted to do make sure he did a good job. He cited travel to Dubai and Saudi Arabia as being influential to Shaheen's design. Not much more has been announced, but we've got an image that Harada shared:
