No Borderlands 3 microtransactions according to Randy Pitchford…
During the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal event, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford stated that there would be “no microtransactions” in the game. He then went on to say that there would be “none of that nonsense.” Following his statements, Pitchford clarified that he meant no loot boxes and no premium currencies.
Rocket League is getting review bombed on Steam
Following the announcement that Rocket League developer Psyonix had been acquired by Epic Games, disgruntled users took to Steam in order to vent their frustrations by leaving negative reviews.
Riot Games employees may soon start a walkout
Unhappy Riot Games employees are discussing a walkout over the alleged abuse and sexism experienced at the company. Talk of a walkout “has been brewing among a number of folks” since Kotaku’s big breakdown this past summer.
PS Plus May 2019 games leaked ahead of official announcement
The EU PlayStation Store showcased the PlayStation Plus May 2019 games ahead of the planned announcement time. Both Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch were spotted and have now been confirmed to be May’s games.
Dr Disrespect criticizes ‘braindead’ PUBG developers
Despite regularly partnering with PUBG, streamer Dr Disrepect took aim at the developers, calling them “braindead.” He went on, “They don’t know anything about proper game design and what makes sense to the game … Randomized red zones, that’s a great idea.”
