Lords of Shadow 2 hopes to turn the entire franchise on its head and bring back Gabriel, Alucard, and the Belmont clan's vampire-killing history for a deliciously bloody finale to the Xbox 360 and PS3 generation of consoles.

The Elder Scrolls Online - Zenimax Online Studios, PC, Xbox One, PS4 rn rnWith a massive world, varied races, diverse classes, intense combat, and the same Elder Scrolls lore fans have come to expect from the franchise, The Elder Scrolls Online will surely suck away the souls of a few staff members at launch. While a subscription model and the to-be-expected launch day woes might rain on Bethesda's parade, there aren't many fantasy franchises that can stand up to World of Warcraft . Let the next-generation MMO battles begin.
Mash Bros.
Super Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS - Nintendo (Wii U, 3DS) rn rnNintendo's fighting franchise shocked the world by bringing the beloved characters players have come to know and love to an arena full of damage and destruction. Now the series is set to jump to Wii U and 3DS, but the now-standard dripfeed of new information, character reveals, level details, and gameplay clips have us biting down on our GamePads. Nintendo has said that the next Smash Bros. games will land in 2013, but will rumors prove true? Will we get to play the next mega-brawler from Masahiro Sakurai by Summer?
Anything but final
Bravely Default - Silicon Studio (3DS) rn rnWhile Nintendo surely has a few more surprises for the growing 3DS fanbase, there's no doubt why they wanted to bring Square Enix's Bravely Default to the West. What if Final Fantasy could return to its roots without the overbearing franchise history weighing it down? Bravely Default tries to answer that, bringing a big adventure to a small screen near you. Take your four heroes around the world and back in a fight against evil, all at the bus stop or in-between classes.
Fly me to the moon
Destiny - Bungie (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360) rn rnEmergent gameplay in a fully-connected online world will stream groups of players into conflict and fully competitive modes continue the fighting after an intergalactic story has been spun. With Destiny , the creators of Halo get to take their science fiction skills to new heights in a brand-new license published by Activision, so what more do you need to know?
My, my Morrigan
Dragon Age: Inquisition - BioWare (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PC) rn rnWhile Dragon Age 2 failed to meet expectations, it's up to the next entry in the franchise to recapture the story, characters, lore, and setting that fans fell in love with in Dragon Age: Origins . So far, everything about Inquisition looks like a step in the right direction, with an obvious flair of gothic fantasy and a few familiar faces. Here's hoping the anticipation is well met.

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare - EA Canada (Xbox 360, Xbox One) rn rnAs part of EA's exclusive agreement with Microsoft, you might have to own an Xbox platform to play Plants Vs. Divided we fall.
The Division - Ubisoft Massive (Xbox One, PS4, PC) rn rnWhen Ubisoft unveiled The Division at E3 2013, it felt a little too similar to its reveal of Watch Dogs , another game we can't wait for in 2014. Now that we've heard and seen more about the game, waiting has gotten progressively harder. The title carries Tom Clancy's name forward into the future of military combat, but the publisher's Snow Drop engine looks to be the real star with increased modeling and effects fidelity.
To the hunt!
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - CDProjekt (PC, Xbox One, PS4) rn rnFollowing Witcher's big debut on consoles with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings , we never doubted that the next game in the franchise would turn the fantasy-infused action-RPG dial to 11.
