The fine folks over at Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have just announced that The Evil Within's first downloadable content pack, dubbed The Assignment, will be launching on March 10.
The Assignment is the first chapter in a two-part story-based add-on to The Evil Within in which "players take on the role of detective Juli Kidman, Sebastian Castellanos’ mysterious partner, in a concurrent story that looks to answer some of the questions surrounding her whereabouts."
The second chapter is called The Consequence and will be released at some point later this spring. Gamers can get both packs, as well as a third upcoming piece of DLC, by picking up the season pass for $19.99. However, if you just want to buy The Assignment separately, you can still do so for $9.99.
The Evil Within: The Assignment will be available for download via PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC. Let us know whether or not you plan on picking up this first batch of story-driven content in the comments below.
