Hi-Fi Rush Rating Reveals Nintendo Switch Release for Xbox Game

Not long ago, it was revealed that Xbox-exclusive games like Hi-Fi Rush would be making their way to non-Microsoft consoles. Now, a recent age rating for the highly acclaimed rhythm title strongly implies it’s coming to the Switch.

Not officially confirmed, yet

looking at the entry on the PEGI – or Pan-European Game Information – website, Hi-Fi Rush has been rated for the Nintendo console, with an age certificate of 12. Details show that this was last updated today.

Currently, a quick look on the Nintendo Store doesn’t return any results for the game, and no one in any official capacity has confirmed whether it’s coming to the hybrid system at the tie of writing. However, given that it’s now on the official PEGI website, it’s probably safe to assume the port is happening.

It is worth noting that this is for the rating board associated with media in Europe. Currently, there doesn’t appear to be any information on whether Hi-Fi Rush will be coming to Nintendo Switch in other nations, such as the US. In fact, the ESRB ratings board shows the game is still only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Hi-Fi Rush was 2023’s surprise hit, seemingly coming out of nowhere. Developed by Tango Gameworks – most famous for the horror series The Evil Within – and published by Bethesda, it beautifully blends rhythm-based action, a kick-ass soundtrack, humor, and smooth animation.

Given what we can see on the PEGI website – not to mention the game recently coming out on PS5 – it seems likely we’ll be seeing Hi-Fi Rush make its way to Nintendo soon.
