Konami is apparently gearing up for a completely new take on the Metal Gear series.
According to several job listings that have surfaced online, the company is looking to hire some new development talent to kick off a brand new series based on Hideo Kojima's beloved game franchise.
This news comes hot off the heels of recent reports claiming the father of Metal Gear is parting ways with Konami. If this is indeed true, it only makes sense for the publisher to get a jump on the changes and begin recruiting talent to take over the series once Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is out the door and finally on store shelves.
Do you think there's a promising future for Metal Gear, even in Kojima is not in the driver's seat?
