Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater: Big Boss stands and salutes a grave and headstone.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Big Boss Statue Costs $400+

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is one of the most celebrated entries in the long-running Konami stealth series. As a result, many are looking forward to the official remake that’s coming. In the meantime, you can pre-order an exclusive statue to commemorate the game, but it’s going to set you back quite a lot of money.

In a recent video on YouTube, First4Figures – a company that specializes in collectible figurines from pop culture – shows off an upcoming statue of Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Big Boss – also known as Naked Snake – is seen decked out in military attire in a recreation of the game’s iconic ending, where he salutes the grave of The Boss. There are three versions of the statue you can pre-order, which are notably pricey.

How much does the MGS3 Big Boss statue cost?

Big Boss Requiem – the cheaper of the three – costs $399.99 and comes with Naked Snake in the saluting pose atop a plinth. There’s also an “Exclusive Edition” that comes with the statue, as well as some extras, including the headstone and a moveable gun box. This one will set you back $454.99, according to the current listing.

However, if you want to go all out – and you have the money to spare – there’s also a “Definitive Edition.” This version comes with everything above, plus an extra detachable base with “relief sculpture of The Boss,” and costs $559.99.

It’s important to note that these are discounted prices. The cost of each has been temporarily cut by 15%, with the offer being on until September 30. After that, the statues will be even pricier, so if you’re interested, it’s worth considering pre-ordering one.

As for the game itself, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is being remade and is being referred to as Metal Gear Solid: Delta. It’s yet to get an official release date, but it could arrive sometime this year. It’ll be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
