Today's big headline is the official announcement of Fallout 4. It was a long time coming, and it's no surprise that more than three million people have viewed the debut trailer within 12 hours.
Rumors of Fallout 4 have been long-running, and the wait has been arduous for Bethesda's first major release on current-generation consoles. Many merely teased its existence, while a select few actually detailed the game. Now that the title has been disclosed, we get to look back and see how these rumors stack up to reality.
One particular leak from a supposed ex-Bethesda employee 11 months ago is shockingly accurate. The user, who goes by the name SandraReed on Reddit, wrote a lengthy post describing the game to an incredible degree. Accurate details included that the game will be set in Boston, that it would be the first Fallout game where the protagonist speaks, that it would be revealed in June 2015, and that it would be for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
The sad thing is that SandraReed was shut down by users. Many called her a liar, a troll, and eventually the post was downvoted to oblivion.

There are a lot of potential 'reveal spoilers' that can be seen on her full post, which you can read here. It's worth checking out, even if just to see how users responded to the rumors a full 11 months before the eventual reveal.
Funny enough, SandraReed's one and only comment on Reddit says the following:
I suppose she gets the last laugh.
