Bethesda Leak Hints at Oblivion and Fallout 3 Remasters

A leaked document from the FTC shows that Bethesda is developing a number of projects over the next few years. Among other things, the Starfield studio is said to be working on remasters of both The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and Fallout 3.

Plus, maybe a third Dishonored game

According to details shared by user Madjoki on Resetera (and posted on Twitter by known leaker Wario64), the next few years are going to be busy for Bethesda.

A release schedule shows that the Maryland-based developer is planning to bring up-to-date versions of the fourth entry in its Elder Scrolls series and the third entry in the Fallout franchise. The former (FY22E) of which will arrive before the latter (FY24E), according to the leak.

On top of this, it also looks like Bethesda is working on Doom Year Zero, as well as some DLC and new entries in both the Dishonored and Ghostwire: Tokyo series. There’s also a possibility the studio is working on an – as yet unannounced – “Licensed IP Game.”

It should be made clear that none of his has been verified by Bethesda or any other official party, so expectations should remain low for now.

It will be interesting to see whether a remaster of Oblivion does happen. We’ve already got Skyblivion to look forward to, which is a fan-made project that fully remakes TES4 in the Skyrim engine. That’s scheduled to drop in 2025.

With Starfield doing so well at the moment and Bethesda also working on The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5, it sounds like Todd Howard and his team have their work cut out for them if these leaks are anything to go by.
