Activision said they were going to be bringing some big things to the Call of Duty Convention, dubbed XP, at the beginning of September. While the convention floor will be filled with fanboys and life-size replicas of Call of Duty levels, the end of the show will play host to one Kanye West.
The… colorful rapper will be taking the stage on Sunday night, September 3rd, to perform for the first time since his Watch the Throne album. While Kanye will close the convention, another act will be opening it. What are the odds on Eminem, the long-time backing tracker to Call of Duty trailers, showing up for a song and dance?
Call of Duty XP will run you $150, but will deliver a "Hardened Edition" copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to you upon its release. You'll also be paying to attend the debut of the game's multiplayer mode, the aforementioned recreations of Modern Warfare levels, and now, some egotistic musical styling. All proceeds go to the Call of Duty Veterans' Charity.
