When the extremely violent Dragon Quest Builders is released in Japan on Jan. 28, it'll arrive alongside a special design of Vita hardware. Check it out:
While the game will also be on PS3 and PS4, this seems to be a clear message that Square Enix knows where its target audience is here. Minecraft on Vita has been a tremendous hit in Japan, remaining on the sales charts week in and week out; Square Enix hopes to appeal both to that fanbase as well as Dragon Quest fans who aren't quite into the standard version of Minecraft.
The bundle shown in the images will sell for 26,000 yen, according to the official announcement.
