Billed as the most powerful GeForce Card ever, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti became available today. Reviews of Nvidia's latest card were highly laudatory, noting its price point as a relative bargain for 4K- and 60fps-capable cards and its performance up to snuff from what you can expect.
They $700 card went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. Pacific time with a limit of 2 per customer, meaning whatever supply they had would assuredly be spread around. By 10:30, Nvidia's product page had the shiny "out of stock" label where you could normally hit purchase.
This has echoes of the brief shipments of the Nintendo Switch that got around to stores like Best Buy only to sell out before a Pizza could get delivered.
Unlike Nintendo's latest console, however, Nvidia assured customers that they get daily inventory, so more 1080 Ti's will be available tomorrow. They have not specified the time at which the cards will go for sale again, so it may be best to check early if you're looking to get your hands on one of these.
