Kingdom Hearts Missing Link Closed Beta

Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link Closed Beta Coming to Mobile Later This Year

As well as the reveal of Kingdom Hearts 4, Square Enix revealed a new mobile title to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary. Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will be heading to iOS and Android devices and there’s a closed beta planned for later this year.

When is the Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link closed beta?

The Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link doesn’t have an exact release date at the moment but will be taking place later this year in specific regions. The game will be a completely new and original story that brings adventures from Scala ad Caelum into the real world.

Few other details were released about the game, although the trailer (uploaded with English subtitles by GamersPrey) did drop some hints. Players will be able to explore the city and scale its buildings. Of course, the Heartless will be around to make things as difficult as possible and you’ll need to take them down in action-based battles using melee combat and magic. There will be at least three playable characters, although we’re not sure who they are, and some of the battles against larger opponents will include multiple characters fighting together.

During the 20th anniversary event, Square Enix also announced the Kingdom Hearts Dark Road final chapter will be coming to Kingdom Hearts Union χ Dark Road soon. The chapter will be released in August 2022 as a free update.

Of course, the biggest news of the night was the announcement of Kingdom Hearts IV. The game will begin a new storyline called “Lost Master Arc” and continues the story of Sora. After a boss battle with a rather large enemy, players find themselves in an expansive city called Quadratum. Sora will be accompanied by Donald and Goofy once again, although he will also face a new character called Strelitzia too.

In other news, a release date has been announced for The Batman on 4K Bluray. The movie will be released in May in the US. Elsewhere, the Halo Infinite Season 2 Battle Pass will get better rewards and overall enhancements.
