Replace the cat with a copy of Mass Effect 3 and you have the solution to this whole problem.
When Electronic Arts and Bioware announced they were sending retail copies of Mass Effect 3 up into space so that eager fans could track the hotly anticipated title as it settles down on the roof of the dog house in their back yard and enjoy the full game early, I thought "that's dumb."
Turns out a copy of Mass Effect 3 has actually landed in a tree, 150 feet up in the San Francisco bay area. Now everyone really wants to get the game down but they can't reach it when they jump and wave a stick at it. Apparently baseballs have also been used.
Pfffft. Baseballs.
News of the nine other retail copies hasn't surfaced yet, but we'll keep track of the stupidity as this marketing stunt continues to unfold disastrously. Oh the embarrassment. It's delicious.

On an unrelated note… this is what we use social media for. Advertisments and show how things like this blow up in people's faces. There are developing nations that are using social media to SECURE LIBERTY FOR THE IMPOVERISHED PEOPLE. Please do our society a favor and stop "liking" things like this.
