George Hotz, the nefarious and sometimes applauded iPhone jailbreaker and controversy stirrer, couldn't hide from the law on this one. After dancing around the law with the Sony PS3 hacking case, police caught up with GeoHot while on route to the South By Southwest conference in Austin, TX… but not for anything related to hacking.
Instead, GeoHot, henceforth known as GeoPot, was arrested at a border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca for possession of Cannibis.
Shit, if I known GeoHot got down like this, I wouldn't have been so against him in the first place. Unfortunately, now, the only fatty he'll be smoking on is his cellmate's.
At least he has a good legal defender.
