PlayStation Countdown to E3 2018

PlayStation Counting Down to E3 2018 With New Announcement Each Day Starting From June 6th

As if the E3 2018 hype isn’t big enough, Sony PlayStation has announced that it will be announcing new games announcements and updates every single day leading to next week’s PlayStation E3 2018 Showcase on Monday. The Countdown to E3 schedule starts from June 6th, 2018, which means there’s a total of five different announcements to make before the main event begins.

Sony Interactive Entertainment America Social Media Director revealed the exciting news on PlayStation Blog earlier today. There will be an announcement every day at 8 am Pacific Time starting from June 6th, 2018. The schedule states that PlayStation will reveal a new PS4 game with PS VR support on the first day.

PlayStation Countdown E3 2018: Could it be Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone or The Last of Us Part 2?

The second day could potentially be huge, as PlayStation will be announcing the release date for an upcoming Worldwide Studios title. That would almost certainly mean a first-party exclusive title, without a doubt. Although it would be logical to assume that the company will be saving the best reveals for the main event, the release date might presumably be for Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone or The Last of Us Part 2 since Sucker Punch, Bend Studio and Naughty Dog are all studios under the Worldwide Studios brand.

Friday and Saturday will both see a new PS4  and PS VR game, respectively. These could be anything. On the other hand, Sunday could prove to be another potentially huge reveal. The schedule states that details of an eagerly anticipated game will be coming to PS VR. The biggest games to have been released for PS VR in the past include Skyrim VR and Fallout 4 VR.

In other related news, lucky gamers in selected regions will be able to catch the PlayStation E3 2018 Showcase live in movie theaters as the PlayStation E3 Experience returns for the fifth time. These include those who live in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile. Tickets will be free and become available starting from June 5th but supplies will be limited.
