A lot of people will argue that Rockstar Games is getting too much credit for the years of work Team Bondi has put into L.A. Noire. Sure, the Austrailian developer wrote and developed the game; sure, they're from down under; sure, they… whatever, look, this is shaping up to be a Rockstar Games game through and through. Cue Team Bondi's transformation into Rockstar Down Under in 3… 2… 1…
How else can you tell that Rockstar has had a lot to do with L.A. Noire? How about the Social Club features they recently announced to give internet-savvy gamers specific treats in 1940s LA.
Social Club members will get access to the Chicago Lightning Suit just for linking their game with their Social Club profile. The Chicago Lightning Suit is pictured above and features an accuracy bonus with shotguns or machine guns.
Social Club members will also be able to use intuition points in interrogations to consult with their fellow community members. "Ask the Community" will display the percentages of Social Club members and the responses they chose in the congruent line of questioning. This feature is visible in the following screenshots.
L.A. Noire will be available on store shelves May 17th on PS3 and Xbox 360.
