Fortnite Season 5 has arrived and with it comes players scrambling for new cosmetics. as well as everything new that the fifth season has to offer. We now know what exactly Season 5 has in store for players in terms of content thanks to patch notes provided by Epic Games earlier today. However, recent Fortnite game file leaks have indicated that there remains more unannounced content arriving in the near future. These game files hint at an upcoming Fortnite Day of Hoe event, as well as Christmas items.
Fortnite Day of Hoe Event: What are Battle Stars?
The Fortnite Day of Hoe event was discovered by a dataminer named “Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaks,” who is also known as @FNBRLeaks on Twitter. He revealed that these game files were found under “Giftboxes,” which could mean that the Fortnite Day of Hoe event could be some kind of reward for players. The message in the leaked image states that players will be given something called Battle Stars.

Fortnite Day of Hoe Event: Christmas in July
That’s not all, folks. Another user named “Stormed – Fortnite Leaks” (or @Fortnitee_Leaks on Twitter) has discovered 3D models that heavily suggest Epic Games could be planning a Christmas event in July. The game assets were found under “Winter” with items like candy cane, Christmas tree (light, ornament, star, tinsel), present, ice cube, snow icicle, smoke chimney and snow blob.

Fortnite Day of Hoe Event: When Is The Day Of Hoe Event Happening?
At the time of writing, Epic Games has not officially confirmed or denied the existence of the Fortnite Day of Hoe event. As such, we will have to wait and see if there’s any truth to the leaks above. In the meantime, Fortnite players will be busy with the currently ongoing Fortnite Worlds Collide event.
