TinyBuild, the developer behind stealth horror game Hello Neighbor, has announced on its official website that it will be publishing five new games. Making the announcement at PAX West 2018, tinyBuild revealed that one of its new titles would serve as a prequel to Hello Neighbor, before they went on to unveil the four other games that it will publish.
Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek will tell the tale of Hello Neighbor’s antagonist’s children. In a brief statement on their website, tinyBuild wrote: “Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek follows the tragic story of the Neighbor’s family in this dramatic prequel to Hello Neighbor. Experience playing a game of hide-and-seek with your brother as you both deal with a loss of a family member. The game explains events that lead up to the original stealth horror hit Hello Neighbor.”
The video game developer and publisher went on to explain which four upcoming games players could also expect to see. Hellpoint, from Cradle Games, is an action RPG for PC and consoles that forces players — taking on the role of a demon — to determine what happened onboard a deserted space station after a cataclysmic event. Meanwhile, Laughing Machines’ Undungeon is a pixelated rogue-like action RPG that sees players control “seven immortal Heralds through the ruins of seven worlds to decide the fate of the new world”.
Swag & Sorcery, an RPG title from the creators of Graveyard Keeper, tasks players with building their own village, equipping characters with various weapons and killing monsters to collect swag. Finally, Pandemic Express, from DT Gaming, is a “first-person shooter where survivors are escaping on a train from the hordes of zombies”. There’s not yet a confirmed release date for any of the five games revealed by tinyBuild at PAX West 2018, but there’s sure to be more announcements made about them over this weekend.
