Despite the fact that the Wii U launched just a few weeks ago, Microsoft's gaming console managed to outsell the competition in the U.S. by a fair margin.
According to Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg (on Twitter), NPD reports indicate that the Xbox 360 managed to sell a whopping 1.26 million consoles in the month of November, which is not only more than Wii and Wii U sales combined, it's also "nearly 2x all other consoles."
That is quite a feat if I do say so myself.
It's no secret that the Xbox 360 is the preferred choice among gamers in the U.S., but why is that? Is it the strong social community built into Xbox Live? Is it the selling power of exclusive franchises like Halo and Gears of War? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
