Battlefront 2 Ahsoka and Padme Revealed in Datamined Files

Star Wars fans will be glad to learn that Battlefront 2 Ahsoka and Padme have been spotted in datamined files from the recent Star Wars Battlefront 2 Clone Wars update. This startling discovery was revealed when the audio files for the General Grievous included ones that mention Ahsoka Tano, Padme Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker.

Several fans on Reddit discovered the hidden files in the most recent Clone Wars update for EA DICE‘s divisive Star Wars Battlefront 2. These audio files seemingly point to Ahsoka Tano and Padme Amidala joining the game as part of the Clone Wars update. However, this remains mere speculation as of now, as the developer has not officially announced nor confirmed either of the two characters.

For those who are unfamiliar, Ahsoka Tano was originally introduced in the Clone Wars animated series as a Jedi Padawan training under Anakin Skywalker. Padme Amidala is more widely known, as she appeared in the Star Wars prequel movies as the love interest of Anakin Skywalker, and later the mother of both Luke and Leia Skywalker.

The only confirmed heroes included in the Clone Wars update so far include General Grievous (which arrives today), as well as upcoming additions like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Count Dooku. EA DICE has even recently announced the voice actors for these new heroes, boasting returning voices from the Clone Wars animated series reprising their iconic roles.

The fact that EA DICE has not officially announced these characters or their voice actors could mean that Battlefront 2 Ahsoka and Padme might not be happening at all. Seeing as these two are fan-favorites, it’s always possible that the developer might be planning to introduce them to the game in the near future. The addition of more female heroes, especially two of the most iconic in the franchise, will definitely be appreciated by fans.
