kingdom hearts 3 announced too early game director

New Kingdom Hearts 3 Trailers Will Arrive in December

Tetsuya Nomura, director of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3, has released a schedule detailing when we’ll get to see new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers. We can expect three installments before the end of December. There will be two new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailers and a movie theater exclusive one before the game launches in early 2019.

The schedule according to Gematsu comes after a fairly generous amount of news for the long-awaited return of the Kingdom Hearts series. The first trailer, which is unhelpfully only described as a “New Video,” will be released on December 10. It’s possibly a look at a new world or a trailer focusing on all the Square Enix characters that will appear in the game.

December 18 will bring us the final trailer before the game’s release, which could focus on the story. Otherwise, a recap of what has happened in the series up to that point would be helpful considering that even the most hardcore Kingdom Hearts fans struggle to recount everything that’s happened. The final installment will be a movie theater exclusive commercial, but it seems like a safe bet that you’ll be able to see a dodgy version of it outside of theaters.

This is more of the constant glut of information we’ve received on the game this year. These trailers come after reveals of the Big Hero 6 world along with the videos showing off the Tangled and Toy Story levels. We’ve also had announcements that many of the original voice actors from the Disney films appearing in Kingdom Hearts 3 will be reprising their roles for the game. Kingdom Hearts 3 will arrive for PS4 and Xbox One after nearly 13 years without a mainline Kingdom Hearts game since the second numbered game released in 2005 in Japan and 2006 in the other territories. If you’re looking for an easy way to catch up on the baffling series, then you can pick up The Story So Far right now for the PS4.
