Capcom’s hotly-anticipated Resident Evil 2 remake is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The remake features plenty of changes over the original, but it also retains a lot of what the original had to offer. This includes the Resident Evil 2 Hunk scenario: The 4th Survivor. Read on to discover how to unlock Hunk in Resident Evil 2 and additional details about the 4th Survivor.
How to unlock Hunk in Resident Evil 2 remake
Unlocking Hunk shouldn’t prove be too much of an issue for most players. At least, it shouldn’t be for those who can’t stop playing the game. To unlock the Hunk scenario in Resident Evil 2 remake, you need to watch the True Ending. We’ve got a whole other guide on that, but for convenience, we’ll summarize.
Simply put, to watch the True Ending and unlock the Hunk scenario, all you need to do is complete the game twice, once as Leon and once as Claire. Make sure, however, that you choose the Second Run option instead of a new game for your second playthrough.
Once you have unlocked Hunk’s scenario, completing it will award you with a Bronze trophy on PS4 and an achievement elsewhere: Grim Reaper – Complete “The 4th Survivor” extra mode. Thankfully, it is shorter than the main scenarios, so you should unlock the trophy or achievement soon enough.
Just as in the original Resident Evil 2, the remake includes Hunk’s scenario: The 4th Survivor. Hunk (also known as the “Grim Reaper”) is shrouded in mystery. The military-trained character is ruthless in his approach to everything and seemingly devoid of emotion. Hunk is the commander of Alpha Team, tasked with infiltrating the Raccoon City Underground Laboratory. This is so he can steal the G-Virus from Dr. William Birkin.
He’s a different sort of character to both Claire and Leon, and you get to play as him as part of his very own scenario, which is a nice bonus for players who complete the Resident Evil 2 remake.
