Man, those Resident Evil 2 Mr. Raccoon locations. Hunting down all 15 of those bad boys across both Claire and Leon’s playthroughs is hard enough even if you know where you’re looking. With that in mind, we’ve cut down the stress by providing you with exactly where to find all Mr. Raccoon figures in the RE 2 Remake so you can unlock the Vermin Extermination Trophy and Achievement. That even includes all Mr. Raccoon second run locations, too, if you’re worried about any missable Mr. Raccoons. Bless the orange little guy.
Resident Evil 2 Mr. Raccoon Locations | Leon or Claire First Run
Mr. Raccoon #1
Perhaps easiest to grab. During your first run, after grabbing the Spade Key, unlock the 1F West Office from the RPD Main Hall side and walk down the steps and towards Leon’s desk. Go around the right side of the table and immediately look up; the first Mr. Raccoon is on top of a cabinet bundled between cardboard boxes.

In the S.T.A.R.S Office on the RPD 2F. Walk in and head to the far right corner of the room. The Mr. Raccoon statue is behind a PC monitor.

The RPD B1 Firing Range. Walk into the room and immediately take aim down the first target range. The orange Mr. Raccoon is at the very end.

Outside the Chief’s Office on a table to the left of the staircase.

Clock Tower West Corridor. Make your way through the Clock Tower and through the door to the corridor adjacent to the West Storage Room. Head to the very end and turn left. Mr. Raccoon is on the final windowsill.

In the area just outside the Supplies Storage Room. This pesky orange chap is tucked away behind the blue wheelbarrow.

Enter the Cafeteria and immediately bear right. On the seating area with two seats, there’s a salt shaker and a Mr. Raccoon to be found at the far end. Shoot both if you like.

In the far pod on the right in the Lab Nap Room. (Note: you must turn the power on in the room first.)

The RPD 1F Break Room. Go to the back room (not the room with the typewriter) and you’ll find the Mr. Raccoon statue at the foot of the twin bed by a brown bag.

Immediately after the Alligator fight in the Sewers. Instead of going up the ladder that Ada provides, turn around and you’ll find Mr. Raccoon hanging around by the back wall.

When playing as Ada, you’ll find another Mr. Raccoon location in the Incinerator to the right of the Incinerator door.

East Storage Room, in the room locked away by the Heart Key. One of the trickier Raccoons to spot, the figure is on the first blue-striped box on a shelf to your left.

Outside the Parking Garage near the Basketball Court. You can find it on the front dashboard of a blue bus just outside of the orphanage.

Enter the Nursery from the Front Hall in the orphanage. The Mr. Raccoon is right in front of you in a kids’ storage unit with a red tile underneath it.

Most likely your final Mr. Raccoon location in Resident Evil 2. Make your way east in the tunnel underneath the RPD by the Guard Room. Once climbing up the steps, keep going until you see a wall and bush on your left. Forage through the bush to find it.
How to unlock the Resident Evil 2 Vermin Extermination Trophy/Achievement
It’s not enough just to spot these Mr. Raccoons. To get yourself the Vermin Extermination Trophy and Achievement you’re going to have to go one further by popping these mascot figurines. Of course, you’ll also have to unlock a Second Run (i.e. complete the story with either Leon or Claire) to pick up the final Mr. Raccoon.
Make sure you have at least some ammo or Gunpowder on you at all times because, while you’ll be able to return to most areas, there’s always the added stress of more zombies for you to deal with. Not ideal when you’re trying to tick off
